We are delighted to announce that Professor David Gann, Head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group at the Imperial College Business School and Chairman of the Think Play Do Group has been awarded a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours announced on Saturday 12th June. The award recognises Professor Gann's great contribution to Engineering, particularly in relation to innovation in the built environment. Professor Gann also holds a chair at Imperial in Civil and Environmental Engineering. June 2009 Dr. Pete Thomond presented some of his latest insights on the links between innovation and sustainability at the 14th Sustainability and Design Network Conference.
